1. Origin:
CNR36 is a three-line hybrid rice variety hybridized by Sichuan Agricultural University of China, it was recognized as a National Seed in 2006.
2. Characteristics:
Growing time: in the North of Viet Nam: in Spring crop from 125 days to 133 days. Wide adaptability, high intensive farming.
Height: from 110 cm to 115 cm, strong stem, anti-shedding, strong tillering, neat; vertical dark green leaves; long seeds, purple peak, narrowly arranged narrowly, 1000 seeds's net weight is about 26 grams to 27 grams.
Good resistance to rice blast bacteria, moderately to seriously infected by leaf blight bacteria.
Average yield reaches from 70 quintals to 80 quintals/ha, can reach from 85 quintals to 95 quintals/ha with good intensive farming conditions.
Rice's quality is quite good.
