1. Origin:
ĐH18 is a purebred rice variety selected by ThaiBinh Seed Joint Stock Corporation.
2. Characteristics:
Growth time: in the North of Viet Nam: in Spring crop from 130 days to 138 days, in Summer crop from 105 days to 110 days. From
Danang to the South: in Winter-Spring crop from 105 days to 110 days, in Summer - Autumn crop from 100 days to 105 days.
Moderate - tillering, big, strong stem, vertical leaves, concentrated flowering, long and big flowers (700-800 seeds/flower).
Ability to withstand external conditions and pests is quite good.
Average yield reaches from 75 quintals to 80 quintals/ha, can reach 100 quintals to 110 quintals/ha with good intensive farming conditions.
